This hands on class will teach students how to
harness the power of Microchip’s Graphics Library to decrease the development
time of sophisticated human interfaces using graphical LCD display technologies
with various input devices. During the hands on portion of this class, students
will use the Microchip Graphics Library, the Explorer 16 development board and
the Graphics PICtail Plus Daughter board to implement a real life application.
Although the class will be taught using a PIC24, the concepts directly apply to
the PIC32 as well.
Recommended Prior Knowledge: (While attendance
at the class(es) listed below is not mandatory, it is recommended that
attendees in this class have the knowledge listed below. This will ensure the
best possible learning experience for all as time constraints will not allow us
to review material outside the scope of this class.)
A strong knowledge of the C Programming
Language, specifically the use of structures and pointers.
